Hb. Patriniae Bai Jiang Cao 6-30g Clears Heat, resolves toxicity, expels pus, eliminates Phlegm, reduces abscesses,invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and stops pain.
With Jin Yin Hua, for suppurative abscesses.
Caulis Spatholobi Ji Xue Teng 9-20g Invigorates and tonifies the Blood, activates the channels and relaxes the sinews.
Rz. Cyperi Xiang Fu 6-14g Spreads and regulates Liver Qi, regulates menstruation and alleviates pain.
With Yan Hu Suo, treats a wide range of applications from Liver Qi Stagnation to deep Blood Stasis and a wide variety of pain anywhere in the body including chest pain, distending pain in the breast, Cold pain in the epigastrium, pain due to bulging disorders in the lower body and dysmenorrhea from Qi and Blood Stagnation.
Fr. Rosae Laevigatae Fu Pen Zi 2-12g Tonifies and stabilizes the Kidneys, tonifies Yang and astringes Jing and urine.
Fol. Isatidis Da Qing Ye 9-30g Clears Heat and resolves Fire toxicity.
With Jin Yin Hua, for Toxic Heat sores.
Rx. Rubiae Qian Cao Gen 6-16g Cools the Blood,d stops bleeding, invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, disperses Wind-Dampness and unblocks the channels and vessels.
Hb. Leonuri Yi Mu Cao 9-60g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Stasis, regulates menstruation, reduces masses,clears Heat and resolves toxicity.
Rz. Corydalis Yan Hu Suo 3-12g Invigorates the Blood, circulates Qi and stops pain.
Per. Zanthoxyli Chuan Jiao 2-7g Warms the Middle Jiao, disperses Cold, dispels Dampness and alleviates pain.

CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS

  • Lower abdominal distention and pain (usually on right)
  • Pain increases on pressure with rebound tenderness
  • Guarding of the abdominal musculature
  • Groin pain resembling urinary dysfunction without urinary difficulty
  • Groin pain relieved by flexing hip and knee
  • Groin pain intensified by extending hip
  • Perspiration
  • Irregular or intermittent fever followed by chills and perspiration
